This is an assault on the Fourth Estate of the Realm as it adds to the number of journalists whose lives have been cut short.

We recall the murders of Dele Giwa of News Watch Magazine, Bagulda Kaltho of the Guardian, Godwin Agbroko of ThisDay, Somtochukwu Maduagwu of Arise TV etc. They all have one thing in common – they were unsolved. Let us hope that the murderers of Kitan Oyesiku are found and brought to justice.

May her soul rest in peace!
